Free commenting? I LOVE it!!!!! It’s just what I’ve always wanted!! (Well, also universal healthcare and a pink laptop, but you can’t have it all, right?)…
Just don’t forget it if you ever go all ‘Surber’ on your commenters- I’ve got a free pass for LIFE, sista.
The Robie House is one of my favorite Wright designs. It’s construction over 90 years ago transformed housing construction and freed architects to abandon the use of “doodads” as Robie called the ornamental details so prevalent in other designs at the time.
Thanks for posting the photo - and congrats to kitty!
Somewhere in Illinois…..I’m going to say Oak Park.
You’re very warm.
The Robie House in Chicago. That’s my guess- just let me kmow what I’ve won…
Know, rather. Let me KNOW what I’ve won.
The Alamo!

Silly Spike, there’s no basement in the Alamo!
Nicely done, Capcitykitty. Your prize is…unlimited free commenting on my blog for life!
