CURA to Place Ads for Grocer
An East End grocery store could finally become a reality, more than five years after a Charleston agency began discussing the project.
Members of the Charleston Urban Renewal Authority agreed Wednesday to run ads seeking a developer to build a grocery store on the former Burger King site on the 1300 block of Washington Street East.
All quality grocery stores carrying a nice selection of organic and vegetarian options, please step forward. Whole Foods? Wild Oats? FasChek – not so fast. You aren’t wanted, and you can’t spell.
